Scams

Phone, Email, internet website popups and snail mail scams are all around us. While many may not understand why there are so many scams, it is pretty simple. They scam people out of money and money is the focus. Scams come from many arenas. Most come from "tech support" calls stating they are from "Microsoft Windows Support" and your computer is infected. They get by with the wording due to they add the word Windows - otherwise they would be suggesting they work for Microsoft. Other big scams topics are IRS, SSA, "money to give you" and Credit offers. Many of these are presented to SCARE you into paying them. Some IRS scams will actually tell you they want you to go to Walmart and buy Gift Cards and provide them with the codes. IRS will never accept gift cards as payment - FYI.
